Dream:
Assalam ‘alaikum wr wb,
I have taken bayath a couple months ago.
I had this dream one a month ago:
I saw small ants in my kitchen, in the dining room, crawling on the floor and I was trying to clean or kill them.
And I dreamt this dream last night after praying fajr:
Then last night I saw bigger black ants in my closet crawling on my clothes and one climbing on my back shoulder and I killed that one. What is the meaning? Jazak’Allah
Interpretation:
a`udhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem
wa `alaykum salam
The black ants show the many bad characteristics of the ego coming to attack you. Alhamdulillah they appeared as small enemies which you were able to oppose and be victorious in the second dream. With the support from your shaykh, you will be able to conquer these enemies one by one, taking control of your spiritual kingdom like the powerful prophet Sulayman (as).
{Till, when they reached the Valley of the Ants, an ant exclaimed: O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Sulayman and his armies crush you, without knowing it. So he smiled, amused at her speech; and he said: “O my Lord! so order me that I may be grateful for Thy favours, which thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may work the righteousness that will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, to the ranks of Thy righteous Servants.”} (Surat An-Naml, 27:18)
