Dream: Funerals

Dream:

Asalaamulaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatu

While I was pregnant with my last child I had a dream.  I was standing in the doorway of an open door.  There were cards on the floor and I was picking them up.  I remember seeing one of my older children playing and another child who was mine but who I had not seen before. This child hugged me and said, “I love you Mummy”. Then I looked up and saw 4 herses carrying coffins. I sent my salaams to each one as they went by. As the last one went by, I noticed there was a lion inside the herse next to the coffin.  And then I was somewhere else in another room with my grandma who had passed away 3 years previously. She was smiling and then she said to me that she would see me soon. Then I awoke.

Interpretation:

Alaykum as-Salam,
This is a good dream that points to spiritual progress. The four coffins to which you give salam represent your parting with your four enemies, hawa, dunya, nafs, and Shaytan, and this is confirmed by the lion which in dream represents the destruction of enemies and the relief of good people. Children and grandmother point to the encompassment of your life with this protection, and Allah knows best.
