Dream:
Assalam Alaikum and thank you to everyone at Eshaykh.
I had this dream a few weeks ago.
In the dream Mawlana Shaykh Hisham was teaching me the verses of Surat Al Fatiha then taught me some additional verses for it so that it became like a longer extended version of Surat Al Fatiha.
In the dream I didn’t know what the extra verses meant, they were in Arabic and I couldn’t retain them on waking.
Can you please explain the meaning of the dream.

Interpretation:
wa `alaykum salam
Surat al-Fatiha is the Opening Chapter of the Quran as well as its open door. The mufasireen say that Surat al-Fatiha is posed as a du`a for guidance and the remainder of the Quran is the answer to that du`a. So teaching you Fatiha, and then verses you didn’t remember means that Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani is opening to you the inner meanings of Surat al-Fatiha and that is an opening to you for understanding the entire Quran. Continue with self-improvement until you can hear the “extra verses”, insha-Allah.
