InshaAllah he will propose to you. Until he does and you have a lawful Shari` nikah, do not have sexual relations. Our mashaykh detest the word ‘boyfriend/girlfriend’ because it is covering up a big sin with ‘nice’ word. That is undoubtedly the inner reason you could not spell it out.
