Assalam u alaykum a rahmatullah,
A couple of months ago I saw Sayduna Isa (a.s.) in a dream and i asked him: Is it true that soon there will be no more technology? He replied: “yes”. Then I asked him: is that what Allah really wants? He replied :”yes”.
I would like an interpretation of this if possible as I am involved in the Information Technology industry, and would like to know if I should start changing my career to something else.
Also, I would like to know if apart from developing knowledge in Islam if it is a good idea to develop also knowledge in law or applied mathematics, or maybe both.

An excellent dream, congratulations. It is materialistic technology that will be taken out, in the meantime we should continue to plant and grow whatever abilities Allah Most High gave us. Both the types of knowledge you mentioned are excellent because they foster values which are agreeable to Allah Most High and increase faith insha Allah.
