Dream: The most powerful love

Dream:

I was fleeing from what I thought were a band of Muslim zealots. I was riding on horseback through a desert. I found a cave and went inside with my horse. I could hear horses and people above me. I was terrified. Suddenly an older man with a white beard and turban wearing white robes came into the cave. He asked why I was afraid. I replied, “I thought you had come to kill me.” He smiled and as he came to embrace me said, “I have not come to kill you but to love you.” He embraced me. It was the most powerful love I have ever felt. I awoke trembling in Love. To this day (25 years later) it is the most powerful love I have ever felt. If He would only come again…my memory of that love is fading.

Interpretation:

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,

This dream teaches that the reality of Islam is Heavenly Love that is carried by Awilya (Saints) of Islam, not the falsehood of extremists. Insha-Allah, you are an inheritor of that Love.  The cave is the heart.   Meditate daily with the intention of being with that one with the turban, beard, and robes.  Look into the teaching of Naqshbandi Shaykhs that fit that description to build your knowledge and connection to that Love.

Wa’Allahu a`lam.
