Dream: Vision of a Waliyullah?

Dream:

My Mawlana Shaykh Hisham, assalamu alaykum. Forgive me for my lack of adab.

I was about 5-6 years old then (47 years ago): I was lying on our bed sandwiched betwen my parents ready to sleep. Suddenly I saw an “old man” floating and hovering above us. I was so terrified! He was of medium height, wearing a turban and a cloak and a cane in his hand. His eyes were sunken and was inviting me to go with him. I covered my eyes with my blanket but when I removed it, he was still there floating , calling me. I believe I was the only one who saw him. I cannot remember how he disappeared but the following morning I had fever.

When I was about 20 years old, he appeared in my dream but he was frowning. Who was this?

More power to you Mawlana!

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh,
As Mawlana mentioned often in his suhbahs, Awliya’ullah are looking after the Ummah and they can appear at any moment to anyone in order to guide us and take away burdenfrom us.

Al-Hamdulillāh, you have been blessed by these visions of one of Awliya’ullah since young age to show you that you are under Mawlana’s guidance and heavenly blessings since that time and more.

And Allah knows best,
Wissam
