I recently took bayah (a month ago). My name is [private], I am turning 21 years of age in May. My mothers name is [private] and fathers name is [private]. I want to ask shaykh for permission to get married to [private], Her mothers name is [private] and fathers name is [private].
I have only met her once and have not talked to her about anything as I wish to marry someone the Islamic way and not have a relationship before marriage. Please advise me on what to do and if I do have permission I will put a formal proposal towards the family.
