Asslamo alaikum wa rahmtullah wa barakatuh, to Sheikh Hisham and all his beloved family and e shaikh members.
I heard there is hadith about status of women in which Prophet Sall allahu alaihay wasallam said” that a woman is ruler of her husband’s home ” …is this hadith is authentic .if yes please guide me where to find and read it in details.

Answer:
`Alaykum as-Salam,
Not ‘ruler’ but ‘custodian’ according to the highly authentic hadith:
“Each of you is a custodian (ra`in) and each is responsible for his or her ward (ra`iyyatih). Thus the political leader is a custodian and is answerable for his ward; man is a custodian over his household and is answerable for his ward; woman is a custodian over her husband’s house and she is answerable for her ward; and the servant is a custodian over his master’s property and is answerable for his ward. So each of you is a custodian and each is answerable over his ward.” Narrated by Malik in the Muwatta’ and by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
