What is the best way to get rid of ants in the kitchen? I heard it’s unislamic to kill them.
Someone told me I must ask them to leave, is there a particular way of doing this? It worked once (I also banged on the table repeatedly to warn them), but all the other times they kept coming so I had to use Raid. Is that bad?
Thanks for letting me know. There are really tons of them as I live in a Middle Eastern country.

wa `alaykum salam,
You may ask them to leave by reciting to them:
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَانُ وَجُنُودُهُ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
ya ayyuha an-namlu adkhulu masakinakum la yahtimanakum sulaymana wa junudahu wa hum la yash`urun.
Recite this and they will leave insha-Allah.
