Regarding missed prayers

Question:

Asalaam.
Regarding the prayers I miss… I work from 9am to 6pm and reach home by 7 or 8 pm. I have woken up in the past to read Fajr prayer, but when I’m at work I feel extremely sleepy and tired (it’s embarassing when I’m attending meetings). Sometimes the sleepiness makes it dangerous when I am driving back home. I do not want to miss my prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr and Asr) while I’m at work. Although I can pray at work, I would rather read at home in peace and concentration and not hurry up because I have to get back to work. What is the best way to make up the missed prayers? Will reading all of them when I get back home help in my case? Do I only read Fard prayers or do I shorten them?

Answer:

Prayers must be made at their appointed times. Try as much as you can to fulfill this. Insha Allah, Mawlana Shaykh Hisham will pray to make this easy for you.
