My name is [private], 43 years old. I wish to have guidance about career path. I have struggled continually for a long time within the computer field to get a good job to no avail, partly due to a problem of chronic insomnia since my teens.
However, on three occasions over the last 15 years I was drawn to the idea of studying acupuncture for my living. Each time I was discouraged by parental expectations so I didn’t pursue it. That no longer matters because I have got nowhere in my life as far as job is concerned and am always in poverty. Should I pursue the acupuncture?

Yes it is a halal medical art and as an open avenue out of poverty for you wajib. Recite before fajr x100 subhan Allah wa bi hamdihi subhan Allah al’azhim astaghfirullah and Surat al Waqi’a after maghrib every day.
