Question:

Assalamu wa Aleykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu ya Mawlana

I have been reciting the Divine Name “Ya Lateefu“. I get to recite 21,000 times. What are my benefits by chanting the name “Ya Lateefu”? What gifts does this Divine Name give back to those who recite it? I would like to know about the benefits, rewards and cite some examples?

Barakallahu Fik’

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Dhikr Ya Latif” is Musawwa’, bringing many wide-ranging benefits and can be recited at any time. It is from Allah’s Name meaning “subtle” or “gentle”. Whoever recites this dhikr shall be dressed with calmness, gentleness, safety from harm, softening the hardened heart, freeing one from worries and distress, instilling humbleness and humility.
