Question about moving countries

Question:

SA Sidi, My husband and I live in Sweden and we are getting anxious about our children(3 and 5) growing up here. Im Egyptian and we have thought of moving there to a more simple country life (not Cairo) but until now we haven’t come across the right opportunity. Please advise us, as the political climate there is not very stable. I have also read Mawlana’s saying about Cairo drowning in the coming times before S Mahdi arrives. Would it be advisable to move to a non-muslim country (e.g. Spain or Portugal) if that means we can live in the countryside?
Thank you for your patience with us.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

You can stay in Sweden, but, if it is too difficult for your children then move to the community that Mawlana has in Spain as it is more near to Mawlana. If you found anything in Egypt, not all Egypt is going to drown, but only Cairo as mentioned by awliyaullah, you can be in Alexandria, Tanta, or wherever is away from Cairo is is ok.
