The Daily Awrad (Spiritual Practices)

Question:

I am continuously performing these awrad (dhikr) on daily basis
m) Dhikr of the Glorious Name ‘Allah, Allah’ 1500 times;
n) salawat [same as (h)] 100 times; 300 times on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
o) one-thirtieth (juz‘) of the Qur’an, or instead Ikhlas 100 times;
p) one chapter of Dala’il al-Khairat or instead salawat 100 times
My question is there any particular way of performing above award, what I do is, I perfom Dhikr of the Glorious Name ‘Allah, Allah’ 1500 times during travelling into Bus or subway returning from work place to Home.
Is this OK

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Shaykh Hisham answered previously that you may keep the tartib, sequence of recitation, by starting after Maghrib, as the beginning of the Islamic day with Shahada up to the Ihda and then continue the remainder of the awrad in the morning, Allah Allah and salawat, Ikhlas and so forth. Obviously, if you absolutely cannot keep the order, then do it in any order that enables you to complete the awrad, as completing it is more important than the order.

It is important however, not to leave out the initial adab, up to Ihda (a – l).
