visions

Question:

Assalam -u- Alekum. The question that I have is that I see visions of MOSQUE OF MADINA and MAKKAH (KABA) when ever I prey or do any thing good or when I perform Zikr. I want to Know why I get yo see these Holy PLaces.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

That is a gift from saints to you to attract you more to Divine Service and away from dunya. And what you see is confirmation of what Grandshaykh `Abdullah al-Fa’iz ad-Daghestani (q) said, as expressed in the suhbat of October 8, 2006, by Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani:

Muraqabah has to be to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. And he reminded me when I was in Cyprus, “When they do muraqabah and they don’t see me, then what did Grandshaykh used to say? He said, ‘When we say Rabitatu ‘sh-sharif, in the Khatm, we say connect your heart with me or Shaykh Sharafuddin.'”

Grandshaykh always says, make muraqabah to Makkah, Madina or to Mahdi. In his time very few knew Shaykh Sharafuddin. However today, everyone knows Mawlana Shaykh Nazim.

But, because he knows it is not easy to connect to the Shaykh, it is easier to connect with the higher level, until you become fana fi ‘sh-shaykh. Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim said, and Grandshaykh said it many times: “until that time they can make muraqabah to three places.”

What are the three places that he used to say make rabitah?

Make rabitah with either:
1) Madinatu ‘l-munawwarah, the Rawdatu ‘sh-sharifa, and you see the building, not the Prophet (s) or the holy grave.

2) to Ka`aba, and immediately you see the Ka`ba.

3) close your eyes and see Mahdi `alayhi ‘s-salaam. Close and go, you will see there.

Is it easy to close your eyes it is easy to see Madina or not? Close your eyes; do you see Shaykh Nazim or not? It is difficult. But Muraqabah to Ka`ba and Madina is very easy. Muraqabah to Madina is to reach you to the Prophet (s) and muraqabah to Ka`aba is to reach you to Allah’s Divine Presence and muraqabah to Mahdi is to reach to the time today.

Mawlana Shaykh doesn’t want people to first make rabitah to himself, because the Shaykh is always humble. He cannot show himself in the presence of Mecca and Madina and Sayyidina al-Mahdi (as). He cannot say “don’t make muraqabah to Mecca, Madina or Mahdi, but rather make it to me.”

Our duty is to bring to the door, we are doormen. Grandshaykh said, “If they cannot see me, let them do muraqabah to these three.”
