Reciting Surah Yasin

Question:

Bismillah
Assalamu Alaykum Mawlana Shaykh Hisham(Q.S.), Shaykh Gibril and the Esteemed and generous staff of this Blessed website. May Allah(S.W.T.) constantly raise your Stations and Bless you here and hereafter. Aameen.
1. Insha Allah we intend to recite Surah Yasin 9 times per person and include Mureeds who like to join and dedicate it to the Best of Creation (S.A.W.) , the Prophets (A.S,) and our Shuyukh. Just wanted to get your permission and also if there is any dua to be recited on completion please suggest. On the other hand, if you give us something to recite instead of this then that is what we will follow.
2. Also please pray for us to make our intention correct and not do this for our nafs.
Waslam

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

1. Insha-Allah, Allah Almighty will send His angels and hidden men (Rijalullah) to join the majlis. You may read any du`a you want. Ask Allah to forgive our sins and remove our difficulties, increase our faith and love for Him and His Messenger (s), to be truthful and loyal students to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani (q) and to bring us and our families to be with Imam al-Mahdi (a.s.) by the barakah of Surat Ya Sin.

You may also read the following du`a by Imam `Abdullah al-Haddad:

2. Recite “Nawaitu l-Arba’iin, Nawaitu l-I’tikaaf, Nawaitu l-Khalwah, Nawaitu l-‘Uzlah, Nawaitu r-Riyaadah, Nawaitu s-Suluuk, Nawaitu s-Siyaam, Nawaitu l-Qiyaam, li-Llaahi Ta’aalaa” before you begin.
