Assalamualaikum. I am separated from my husband for 7 months. We have a 6 week old son. I left to come to my parents for a few days after having an argument with my mother-in-law. We were happily married and loved each other very much. My parents took me back the next day, but my husband refused to take me back. They refused to take my calls, my parents and even members of the community. He is totally controlled by his parents. He abandoned me during my pregnancy. He saw the baby a few times at the hospital and even named him. He hasn’t seen the baby in 4 weeks and now demands paternity tests saying it’s not his child.
