I am a girl and im 27 years old. I am a divorcee and experienced a pathetic marriage life for 2 months. Now, my parents looking for another marriage of mine and i got a proposal from a guy who is also a divorcee and now he is in America and his family is also good.. My parents are very excited about this proposal, i just want to make my parents happy. I don’t know that the guy likes me not. What i do for getting married with this guy and live happily. Please give me some advice. I really want to get married soon and my parents also. Please help me.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham is praying for you. In this matter think of your own happiness and not just trying to please your parents. Try to find out if the prospective spouse prays and whether he has a kind and gentle character. Such a decision, which involves living in another country with someone new for the rest of your life, involves more than just material considerations. It involves your heart and soul. So make wudu‘, pray two rakaats then ask Allah to show you and earnestly ask Him if this match is good for you or not. In sha Allah you will see more clearly.
