Tall Buildings In the Last Days

Question:

Assalammualaikum.
Many thanks to MSH, MSN and Grand-shaykh Abdullah Ad-Dagestani, May Allah Bless them all and us too.
Thank you for the knowledge through the book The Approach of Armageddon: An Islamic Perspective by Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani. Indeed The Prophecy of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. is true.

In front of the Kabaah, currently the world Second tallest building Abraj Al-Bait Towers(601m). The tallest in Dubai Burj Khalifa.828 meters.
Bare foot naked Bedouins racing each other building skyscrapers. Saudis planning to build a building that is 1 Mile high. (Burj Khalifa.828m – 1 mile is 1760 yards or 5280 feet or 1.6 km that is 1600m high, almost double that of Burj) Latest news – not possible for 1600m but will try to build 1000m tall structure. Solar flares pass by the Earth recently. Heavenly power that might destroy technology. MSH please pray for us Muslims Singapore and South-East Asia.

Origin of doa/munajat

Question:

ssalamu’alaikum, dear eshaykh.com
I’m [private] from Malaysia. I would like to know the doa/munajat below whether origin from Rasulullah s.a.w. or is started by Sufi from Naqshbandi order or from Sufi of other tareqat. What is the name of the Sufi sheikh? Thank you, wassalam

“ILAHI ANTA MAQSUDI WA RIDHAKA MATLUBI”

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,
This du`a/munajat is narrated by Hadrat Mawlana Shaykh `Abd al-Khaliq al-Ghujduwani (Allah sanctify his secret) through spiritual unveiling (kashf) from the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace), though not with a chain of transmission. This phrase is the main worship of the Sixth Principle of the Naqshbandi Tariqa which is called Baz Gasht or “Returning”.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani (Allah sanctify his secret) said in his book The Golden Chain:
“Baz Gasht is a state in which the seeker, who makes Dhikr by negation and affirmation, comes to understand the Holy Prophet’s (Allah bless and greet him) phrase, ilahi anta maqsudi wa ridaka matlubi (“O my God, You are my Goal and Your Good Pleasure is my Aim”). The recitation of this phrase will increase in the seeker the awareness of the Oneness of God, until he reaches the state in which the existence of all creation vanishes from his eyes. All that he sees, wherever he looks, is the Absolute One. The Naqshbandi murids recite this sort of dhikr in order to extract from their hearts the secret of Oneness, and to open themselves to the Reality of the Unique Divine Presence. The beginner has no right to leave this dhikr if he doesn’t find its power appearing in his heart. He must keep on reciting it in imitation of his Shaykh, because the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) has said “Whoever imitates a group of people will belong to them.” And whoever imitates his teacher will some day find this secret opened to his heart.
“The meaning of the phrase Baz Gasht is the return to Allah Exalted and Almighty by showing complete surrender and submission to His Will, and complete humbleness in giving Him all due praise. That is the reason the Holy Prophet mentioned in his invocation, ma dhakarnaka haqqa dhikrika ya Madhkur (“We did not Remember You as You Deserve to be Remembered, O Remembered One”). The seeker cannot come to the presence of Allah in his dhikr, and cannot manifest the Secrets and Attributes of Allah in his dhikr. If he does not make dhikr with Allah’s Support and with Allah’s Remembrance of him. As Bayazid [al-Bistami] said: “When I reached Him I saw that His remembering of me preceded my remembrance of Him.” The seeker cannot make dhikr by himself. He must recognise that Allah is the One making Dhikr through him.”
May Allah Most High grant us something of that lofty Station and may He reward and thank our masters on behalf of the Ummah.

Dream: Sayyidina ‘Izrael Alayhi Salam

Dream:

Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah

May Allah(S.W.T) bless Sultan-ul-Awliya Sayyidi Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (Q) and Sayyidi Shaykh Hisham(Q) Aameen

I saw in a dream that I am siiting on a sofa and a man came to me, a beautiful glowing face. I knew he is Izrael Alayhi Salam. I also knew in the dream that he had come to take my soul. He came near me, I was on sofa and he (A.S) sat on his knees on the floor and put his hands on my wrist or leg (can’t remember correctly)…and started to recite something. I started feeling a bit of uneasiness and a slight headache.

The same day I saw that I have been given a dua of one page might be by Rasulullah (S.A.W).

Jazakallah.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Amin. It is a good dream. Remembrance of death is nearness to Allah Most High and seeing death in dream points to life, and blessings here and hereafter, insha-Allah.

Prayer Request: Sufism and pacha mama (inca )

Request:

Assalamualaikum….
There’s something that keeps bothering me….My partner is starting his spiritual path..but it’s not about Sufism…It is ‘inca‘ …’pachamama‘… I would like to be able to find our balance even if both of us believe in different ways… Until now we both try to respect each other, and to support each other…even is not easy but we both are trying to give each other the best that we can…. I saw him change into a better person since he started his spritual path… I’m trying to give him a support to find his way, so we can ‘grow up’ together … But there’s something that is blocking me…Once I went with him into his ‘class’ of meditation… It’s hard for me to accept their ritual ways… I know it’s hard also for him when once he went with me into Dzkr

What can I do so we can be in a harmony together ?

Response:

wa `alaykum salam,

The solid foundation of harmony in cohabitation is marriage. In his introduction to “Natural Medicine”, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (may his soul be sanctified) said all of the health recipes and prescriptions therein presuppose one thing, which is belief in Allah Most High and His Messenger. He said that asking to heal oneself without following the Divine prescriptions and the Prophetic ways is self-defeating and illogical. Therefore, first try to correct what is wrong in the latter respect and insha- Allah you and your loved one will move again in the right direction.

Aqeeda

Question:

assalam alaikum.. Can you tell whether there is any wazeefa for correcting someone’s aqeedah….that the person completely returns towards AHLE SUNNAT..

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

That wazifa is suhba. Imam al-Qushayri narrated from his teacher Ibn Furak, from his teacher Muhammad ibn Mahbub, Abu `Uthman al-Maghribi’s servant: “Abu `Uthman said to me one day: ‘Muhammad! If someone asked you: Where is the One you worship, what would you answer?’ I said: ‘I would answer: He is where He never ceased to be.’ He said: ‘What if he asked: Where was He in pre-eternity?’ I said: ‘I would answer: Where He is now.'” That is: He was when there was no place, and He is now as He ever was. “Abu `Uthman was pleased with my answer. He took off his shirt and gave it to me.”

Please give me some serious advice, as I’m very low on everything.

Advice for one who is studying The Holy Quran

Question:

It would be a great help if you’d give me advice and pointers that will help me in my journey to study the Quran. Alhamdullilah I am studying the Tafseer of the Quran in an institution. JazakAllah Khair. Many Allah SWT continue to bless your work. Ameen.

Salvation without Prophet’s Intercession

Question:

As’salamu alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barkatuhu,

Is it possible to get salvation without the intercession of Sayedna Muhammad ( sallal lahu Alaihi Was sallam)? I have to explain it to a friend who thinks that his sins are of such a nature that any intercession by Prophet (saws) will make Prophet (saws) ashamed of him in front of Allah (swt). Thus he prays: “O Allah forgive me and do not let your beloved Prophet (saws) become ashamed of having such a follower”. Is this right?

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

His du`a is correct and is the soul of intercession. As for your question, the answer is that without the second half of shahada one’s religion is incomplete therefore no, it is not possible for us to get salvation without the intercession of Sayyidina Muhammad (s). However, in the hadith qudsi of the succession of intercessions the very last intercession will be that of Allah Most High with Himself, on behalf of whoever is still left in hell fire among those whom He desires to bring into Paradise.
