Dream: Killing Shaytan

Dream:

Assalam- Alaikum
May I pass many heartfelt greetings of peace to Shaykh Hisham.
I had a dream in which I was with a large gathering of Western academics, the majority of whom were Christians. It was possibly an inter-faith dialogue meeting and they had handed out ribbons like crosses. An evil entity appeared and started to trouble all in the conference and the Christians tried to contain it with their crosses but to no avail. I felt it was either from amongst the shayateen or an evil jinn. It came close to me and I threw the cross-like ribbon on the floor and grabbed the monstrous creature by the neck and recited’ Aoozubillah and Bismillah (in their entirety and aloud). It shrank and was destroyed and the people were freed from the torment.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

The dream is self-explanatory. Take bay`a if you have not already done so.

Prayer Request: Prayer for Marriage and job

Assalaamualaikum
My name is [private]. I’m 23 years old. I like a guy named [private] who is also of this age. I want to get married to him. Please suggest me some duas for this. Also, I’m trying hard to get a job but all in vain. Please advice something for this because job is really important to my family at this time.

Let families communicate your mutual intention. Recite in every du`a:

رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً۬ وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً۬ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ

Rabbana atina fil-dunya hasanatan wa fil akhirati hasanatan wa qina `adhab an-nar.

Using musical instruments of iron

We are a group shalawat, when we shalawat at one event, there are preachers who say there are musical instruments that use the iron is haram, please explain.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

That is the traditional position of Imam Ghazzali, Allah have mercy on him, so it is preferable to use non-metal drums to deflect criticism.

Allah will console you, just ask for contentment. Allah gives you health and rizq, recite in the morning 100 times SubhanAllah wa bi-hamdihi, SubhanAllah al-`Azim, Astaghfirullah.

Nur Ala Nur Bayah

Question:

Asalam u alikum, I have already taken a bayah with a Shaykh in the Qadri Silisilah about 2 years back. Is it also possible to take bayah with beloved Sultan ul Awlia Shaykh Nazim Haqqani to get his blessings and faiz. Does this require to visit him or is their any other way.
Is it okay to have bayah with more than 1 shaykh and does it require the other shaykh being informed or can it be taken without informing the exisiting Shaykh. Asalam u Alikum

Dream: Picture Of An Old Woman

Dream:

A friend of mine saw this dream a few weeks ago that she was asked by her sister to look for a picture of an old woman which she had seen in real life once on book cover.In the dream she tries to find it but she is unable to do so.The next day in another dream of her her mother told her to find the picture of that old lady this time she looks for it in a couple of books but she in once again unable to.(The girl belongs to the Shite sect)

Interpretation:


The old woman represents dunya and not finding her is a good sign your friend is being drawn to love of the afterlife and love of Allah swt, His Prophet (s) and Ahl al-Bayt. And Allah knows best.

About some Sheikhs

Question:

As Salamu Alaikum;

I want to be sure about certain sheikhs who claim to have a authentic silsilah.
1) A certain sheikh named Hasan Galip Kuscuoglu in Turkey. He says that “whoever says that Allah exists is a Muslim”, and he said that “Ataturk is a very holy man, he was appointed by god to improve the society”
I’m strongly of the opinion that he is a fake.

2) Second group is in NY, and they claim to be the followers of the late Sheikh Muzaffer Ozak and they call themselves “Nur Ashki Jerrahi Sufis” ( I have benefitted greatly from Sheikh Muzaffers books) but when I looked them up a bit, the current head of the tariqa is a woman, and the previous leader was Lex Hixon, and he had written books about Hinduism etc. after he was the head of this group. Can you clarify for me please.

how to deal with my father?

Question:

Asalaam u Alaikum

My father has worked all his life; he does not talk to me except to put me down, be condescending or ask why i haven’t got a job. He was always working when i was young, our relationship has suffered to the point that i try to avoid him. He is never happy with anything i do and even after i started reading salaah and study Islam he discourages me by saying i should not only focus on islam but working hard in a job, even though he does not read salaah himself. I know that he may mean good, but i am slowly building up resentment towards him which will lead to me saying something to him about how i feel one day.

I would really appreciate if you could advise me on how to deal with this situation
