marriage, fate, dua

Question:

I hope to marry a girl from a different country and culture, we are both Muslims but from different madhabs. Both families disapprove. We decided to accept that. But I can not move on as I strongly believe Allah will allow us to marry. Am I deluded?

Answer:

In-sha-Allah Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani is praying for you.

In this day and age, it is not delusional for people of diverse origins to marry, and your families should review the life and example of our beloved Prophet (s) instead of judging on nonsense factors.
