Question:
My husband is living with the family of his father’s brother. They have no children. I was married to that house. From 4 years onwards he was staying there. But that aunt was always harrasing me irritating me and she is taking the salary of my husband and didn’t allow him to to go to my family,visit his mother and sister (also she abuse them), to consult doctor when I as sick. Before 6 months I had twins intra uterine death and am feared to stay with that lady. Now we are living separate for 2 months. My husband is telling that he wants to divorce if I am not ready to stay with him in that house. Aunty doesn’t like us having children and I think she had done something for the death of my children. Her behavior is very bad. Please suggest some dua. I don’t want to divorce.
Answer:
You have endured a lot through the deprivation of your God-given rights (your own private space) and that is a path to sainthood. The stillborn will intercede for you into Paradise in sha Allah. Allah will make you prevail in sha Allah. Recite daily to that intention Hasbiya Allah wa ni’ma al-Wakil x1000.
