Calling For Intercession

Question:

On the naqshabandi site i saw the way to call on for intercession. but i want to know how do we exactly do it.

For example if i want to ask Khwaja Baha’uddin Naqshband for intercession do i have read the whole thing like its given on the site with all 16 names before stopping at Khwaja Baha’uddin Naqshband. and do i have to add something before their names.

Please guide me
Regards

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

You may call all, one or some of theĀ  saints mentioned by name any time and place without following this specific adab, as for example, Ya Mawlana Shaykh Nazim! or Ya Shah Naqshband! However the prescribed manner of calling (nida) is more preferred and more powerful if you have time to do it.
