Question:
As salaam alaykum,
I dreamt the other night I had cancer in the liver area of my upper abdomen. I dreamt my father and brother had it too. I woke up thinking I had cancer and had to go for treatment – this was both frightening and tedious for me. Is this just some subconscious fear, or does it mean something spiritually?
Also, I’ve had other dreams where I was kicking my own dead limbs from me with, apparently, some new limbs. Does that mean anything or is it nothing serious? I ask, because the memories of these dreams have stuck with me for several weeks, and not faded.

This dream can mean that some emotional problems are not being resolved between your father and brother. Do the Zikr of Jonah (`alayhi ‘s-salaam), “Laa Ilaaha illaa Anta Subhaanaka innee kuntu min az-Zaalimeen” at least 300 times a day and insha’Allah it will be resolved. And Allah (swt) knows best.
