In one of Maulana’s Sohbet’s about the situation in Egypt, Maulana Shaikh Nazim spoke about Hosny Mubarak and the fact that he is over 80, and according to the Qur’an he is not accountable for his actions. After sharing this information with some people outside the Tariqa, they have asked me for the Ayat that specifically mention this.
Could you please inform me of such Ayas.

There is at least one Ayah in Surah YaSin that confirms what Mawlana Shaykh Nazim said about people who reach the stage of senility. According to Shari’ah obligations of such people are waived. Such person is not expected to pray or fast, and any vows, oaths taken as well as words of divorce spoken by him are not valid.
