Polycysitic Ovarian Syndrome

Question:

Assalam Alaikum,

I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome about 5 years ago. I sometimes don’t have a period for one or two months at a time. I have facial hair on my chin and weight issues because of this also. There is also a higher risk of developing diabetes (God forbid). The doctor only suggests taking birth control to regulate hormone levels. After seeking permission from Maulana, I was taking this medication for a few years but it started to make me feel sick all of a sudden so I stopped taking it. I have not seen a doctor about this problem recently but I feel as if it is getting worse. Is there anything I can do or recite for this?

May Allah (swt) give Maulana Sheikh Nazim, Maulana Sheikh Hisham, Hajjah Naziha and their entire family long life and keep us with them here and hereafter AMEEN.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Whatever Mawlana said follow and at the same time consult doctors. And you can recite Ya Shafee 100 times.
