My son accompanied me to Lefke. My son and I have had problems with getting on, maybe a clash of natures. I asked Maulana for a name change as his was given by us without much thought when he was born. And by the grace of Allah he was re-named ISHAQ. I have not changed his name in his paperwork so is it OK to call him this name and not change his documents?
Answer:
Yes, it OK not to change the official documents. Just using the name Ishaq verbally will affect things for the best in sha Allah.
