My wife and I have been married for 2 years and recently we have been having very bad fights. We currently stay at my parent’s house because we can’t afford our own house. The problem is she feels obliged to leave her mom’s place (where she is always happy) to come here where she is always unhappy! She feels that she always has to be cooking here and doing everything that she’s asked and it is affecting our marriage because she puts everyone before me, her husband.
Her parents have said that we can stay at their house if we want to. The main concern of mine is that if she keeps doing this and staying unhappy, she will drive herself mad and end up in hospital.
I love her very much and want to make her happy!
Please can you provide advice for us, Shaykh?
