Assalaamualaikum wr wb to all,
I had firstly a request for duas for I have undergone a nikah without parents from either sides being aware for the sake of ALLAH. I have firm belief that the parents will come around and accept but still ask for duas from the eshaykh team that this may be out in the open soon.
Secondly, my family background is not religious at all. They are believers but do not pray I do not like being in this company much because of the atmosphere please can you advise me on what can be read for them to change we are making duas also but please also make duas for the family.
There is a lot of tension within the home and it is very negative energy most of the time please advise us on what we can do.

May Allah swt grant you and your family blessings and guidance for success here and hereafter. Keep good relations and your filial spirit will benefit them spiritually in sha Allah. Every week or so prepare food by reciting Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim over it and gift it to them.
