Salam alaykum Shaykh,
My ex-husband has requested to remarry me and I have accepted, we have a child. I am concerned how to speak to my parents as they may not be happy with my decision. I have made istikhaarah and feel content with my decision, InshaaAllah. Please advise what I can do to have their hearts change to accept this. I haven’t spoken to them about it as yet and I feel scared they may not be happy. Jazaakallaahu khayran.

If Allah and His Prophet are happy with such a reconciliation, that is
really all that matters. Heavens and earth will follow in sha Allah.
