Aoa,
Istikhara for marriage dream – I am inside a house staring out a window. Someone comes down the staircase. I turn and see his back. He walks towards living room without noticing me. I follow him but run into my father. He says “they agreed” twice. I look at him and say “are you happy?” He says, “yes.” There is also a man on the wheelchair and he says to me “come on, let’s take a family picture.” The way he said come on was as if he was telling me to forget any negativity and to accept them as my family. I take the picture.
I cut off communication with him 2 months ago because he continues to say that he is not sure. We were talking for 9 months. I was getting attached so I thought it is best to avoid haram and cut it off.
Please advice.

Answer:
You did the right thing and may Allah increase your goodness and wisdom. Dream is forward-looking but patience is required, and in sha Allah you will meet someone who is right for you and who will make a proposal.
