I converted to Islam 17 years. We have two young children. It’s so tough living with a non-believer, a non-supporting wife. My fasting, prayers, teachings get in her way. No wife rights for months on end. Sleeping in separate beds for 12 years, my heart is crying. I treat her well, she manages my income, she doesn’t need to work. I live as a secret Muslim as it will be hell if her family found out. I lost my Hindu family due to my conversion. All because Allah opened my heart? Why so much suffering? Help dear Shaykh, who has given in my heart so much love to give but no woman to take. Astfirullah. Please advise as patience is so tough after 17 years..

A Muslim’s marriage with a Hindu woman is invalid. You are waiting for a downhill stream to start flowing upward. Ask her to become Muslim or go your separate ways.
