I have made istikhara for a man that I wanted to marry inshAllah. We are good friends but he says that he currently doesn’t like anyone for marriage. When I did istikhara my results were positive, I also made an istikhara request on this site and the sheikh told me that the results were positive as well. My question is what does it mean? Does it mean that the marriage will happen or IF it does happen then it would be successful? Although the istikhara was positive could I also have positive signs for another man?

Alaykum Salam,
Positive Istikhara simply means that it would be a blessed endeavor if it happens. Yes, it can also be positive with someone else instead, for example if nothing happens in the first case.
