Requesting Istikhara for leaving a teaching job at Islamic School to a better paying job in non Islamic environment, eg. teaching at community college. I’m a single mother of 3 and love my job but am qualified for higher paying jobs. Plz advise, Maulana.
Answer:
Walaikum assalam,
If you need the extra money to live, then there is no harm to go to the higher paying job. If you can manage with the pay, then it is better to stay at the Islamic school.
