I just wanted to know if dua sayedina Dawud isn’t haram and if its not do i get the permission to do it for the guy i love ? and for how long should the dual be rapped around my hand cause I’m scared to keep it rapped around ?

How could a du`a to Allah swt be haram? But if you don’t feel right doing it then don’t because it will not work unless you believe.
