I am a university student and studying hifz, often in lectures in university I sometimes have Quran opened on my mobile as I can quickly go over surahs. If peoples behind me are higher and are above Quran is this haraam?
Answer:
As other books should not be placed upon the Qur’an, other books and devices should not be placed on devices that contain Qur’an. If persons behind you are higher and above your mobile it is not haram as long as you don’t converse with them in such position and as long as you have no control over their movements. Allah knows best.
