Well we would like to get an explanation about hitting Daf and Jambe. We use it in our Naqshbandi zawiya during hadrah, but some people question us, said is it permissible to use this? Some said it’s not permissible.
Answer:
Based on several sayings of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) the daff is permissible on all occasions when we are expected to express joy, but without praising or calling on fitnah or haram related matters.
