Assalamu alaikum ! I’m female and have a difficult time finding a job. I’m very pressured by my parents and relatives to find work. Is it permissible for me to work in a westernized grocery store? Can I display and sell non halal products ? I need advice.
Answer:
Whatever we are forbidden to consume we are forbidden to sell as well. If however that kind of job is the only one available for you to survive then it is tolerated but you need to be in constant search of a halal job.
