Question:
Reciting Quran we are not supposed to stop in between for anything else. As there are certain exceptions when it comes to attending to your husband’s needs, I want to know if we should stop in between and see to them and continue or finish reciting first.
Answer:
In short, if a wife refuses to respond to her husband’s request for intercourse, she has done a Haram thing and committed a major sin, unless she has a valid shari’ah excuse such as menses, obligatory fasting, sickness.
