I saw that I was praying maghrib fard when a man (whom I know and admire) calls my name from behind me. I restrain myself from turning to him and when I finish praying he comes to me and we are very happy to see each other.

Calling to you from behind during an obligatory prayer indicates he will disrespect your religiosity, and Allah knows best.
