Smoking is haram or not some telling it makrooh what is right opinion? I hope you help me.
Answer:
As-Salamu ‘Alaikum,
I am in favor of Hanafi tradition which says:
It is appropriate to say that things which are haram according to rules but are not mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah (smoking) are Makrooh tahriman (strictly abominable) rather than haram.
