Question:
Assalamu alaykum,
I dreamt of masjid Al Nabawi and walking inside the masjid. I see lightning happening and it’s close enough to strike so I start reciting the adhan softly and I hear it start echoing around me and the lightning stops. Please explain.

Waalaykumussalam warahmatullah,
Lightning is barq in Arabic and the prayer is the mi`raj of the believer, i.e. its buraq. An excellent dream pointing to the Holy Prophet as your wasila and to Salat as your mi`raj. And Allah knows best.
