Question:
Assalamualaikum Shaykh,
I am now engaged with a man from an Europe country for a year, and Inshallah we are going to get married within this year, We live in our own country and communicate through email and chat/web cam because of the distance. He has been coming home (being a muslim) for 6 years, Alhamdulilah.
But the thing I am still sad is when we have an argument, he always uses the word “Jesus!!” to express his emotion/his dislike etc. It’s just like when we say “Astaghfirullah, or “Ya Allah”.
Please advise me Shaykh, what should I do when i hear the word coming from him, because he is now muslim, I expect he can say Allah because at times when he is in good mood, he will say Allah.

Alhamdulillah if this is his only “crime” then you are very lucky. Have patience as he is a “baby” Muslim. Rather look at your own faults, make istighfar 300x daily and ask Allah to keep you both together in love and harmony after marriage.
