As salamu aleikum,
I read in one of your answers for kaffarah that “Kaffarah (expiation) by fasting 60 consecutive days thereafter with no breaks (if there are breaks within that period, the Law requires that you start again). If you are unable to do that, the last resort is to feed 60 Masakin (needy persons)”.
How can women fast 60 consecutive days when they have their period once a month? Or is only the latter option applicable for women?

Women will take a break during the menstruation period and will resume once it is over.
