Dream:
Slmz, I am not sure if this dream counts, can you please assist me, i haven’t prayed istikhara but before i went to bed I had asked Allah Ta’ala to “please give me a sign if i should do a specific thing and if it’l be good” I had a dream about fish flesh, fish were dead and cut and also in my dream I had seen dead clean chickens with blood on them. This specific matter is very close to my heart and it’s something that I truly desire as I cannot move on from it. Can you please tell me if this dream counts as a sign or should I pray istikhara and await for a sign then. I have heard that dreaming of fish is very good but only after istikhara namaaz. Also Can you please tell me the meaning of fish in a dream in general.

Our mashaykh teach that seeing blood in a dream invalidates it and it should be ignored, and Allah knows best. Redo the istikhara (for that is what you did) and see what comes.
