Could you please provide an explanation for this verse? Also, later in this Surah Allah Alimighty states “Those who believe (in the Quran). Those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians and the Christians, -any who believe in Allah and the last day, and work righteousness, on them shall be no fear, neither shall they grieve. 5:69”. I was asked for an explanation to a non-Muslim friend about verse 51 in particular but I don’t have the knowledge to be able to provide a true succinct answer, hence I am asking for you help please, insha’Allah.
