Assalamu Alikoum MSN, MSH and eshaykh staff
Please advice! I haven’t passed one of my courses, studying to get bachelor degree in social work science. This is getting me in troubles because I can’t get money that we get for studying. I live at home but have some expenses every month, such as a car. Should I seek/take a job or only sell my car (expenses decrease a lot) because MSN said that we should stay at home, especially women. I’m not using the car often. I have financial problems at home because mother doesn’t work. I give mother half the money and with the rest pay my expenses. I’m praying istikhara, what more should/can I do? Please advise, also pray for me/my family, especially that mother get a job soon.
Difficulties when studying: lack of concentration + other things disturb me, eg. things that can’t wait. Please pray to pass course, give advice/dua to recite?

Getting a job is allowed and best if you are your mother’s mainstay. So it is best to keep the car unless public transport is enough. Working from home is ideal but not everyone can do it. Read Surat Tabarak every day for better concentration. Mawlana Shaykh Hisham is praying for you, your mother and family.
