Assalamualaikum Mawlana Shaykh Hisham, Alhamdulilah with Allah’s blessing I have gotten to know a sister whom InshaAllah I would like to get married to. I was attracted to her modesty and faith in Islam. And the sister feels the same way about me (Alhamdulilah). However mutually we have decided to inform our parents and have the Nikkah in two years InshaAllah due to age. We converse through text and phone conversations. We do not engage in meeting at public places nor is there any form of physical engagement between us. Mawlana Shaykh Hisham, please ask dua for us to stay away from any sin, to continue on the righteous path and InshaAllah for us to have the Nikkah as we agreed upon even though it is a longtime to wait.
