Dream:
Bismillah:
As-salamu ‘alaykum,
I was sitting at Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s bedside (apparently he was very ill). He then took a white Naqshbandi turban and put it on my head. I think he took my hands too. Then he said he gave me khilafa.
As I’m a very bad excuse for a mureed I know not to interpret that literally, but how should it be interpreted?
Interpretation:
Bismil’lahi’r’Rahmani’r’Raheem:
wa `alaykum salam,
This dream can mean that Mawlana is saying to you to keep following the tariqa and you will be honored and respected by people, the turban represents that. To make dawa`, to bring people to theĀ Naqshbandi way is what it means to be khalifa. And Allah knows best.
